Description
As a Site Quality Engineer in MSB, you will be responsible for inline process control, outgoing product control and deviation management to drive focus and continual improvement of site quality performance. You will support technical risk assessment of process change as well as play a key role in the Change team in determining the site process conversion strategy.
Responsibilities
* Work with Assembly/Test/Module/SSD Process/Equipment/Manufacturing teams to drive inline and outgoing control to meet customers’ quality requirement
* Support technical risk assessment of process change
* Be part of Change Team to define site process conversion strategy
* Manage quality deviation and drive for closure of corrective/preventive actions to drive for deviation reduction and continual improvement
* Perform Data Mining to identify quality improvement opportunities and lead site quality improvement projects
* Support site focus on improving performance variation that impact quality performance
* Work with Global Quality, Product Engineering & Central Teams to understand key customer quality issues and drive these issues to resolution within the site
* Develop strong relationships with Global Quality, Product Engineering & Central Teams to improve business process performance
Requirements
* Possess a degree in Electrical, Material or Mechanical Engineering
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
* Possess good communication skills and ability to work with people from diverse technical backgrounds
* Knowledge of Quality and Reliability in area of Semiconductor will be advantageous
* Knowledge of Java programming will be advantageous
