HDB 出租整间和房间的屋主要注意了- 今年5月1号起，

，除了不能出租给非马来西亚的建筑工人，海事业工人（M&P）也被禁止住在组屋区，现在出租的可以持续到租约满。

We wish to inform you on the implementation of a revised eligibility condition for subtenants to rent an HDB flat or room(s).

Currently, HDB flats or room(s) cannot be sublet to non-Malaysian Work Permit Holders (WPHs) from the Construction sector. 　With effect from 1 May 2015, HDB subletting rules for non-Malaysian Marine and Process (M&P) WPHs will be aligned with non-Malaysian WPHs from the Construction sector. 　This revision is in line with the longer term plan to house non-Malaysian WPHs in the M&P sectors in purpose-built dorms and approved workers' quarters with facilities which better cater to the workers' needs.

Flat owners who are currently subletting their whole flat or room(s) to subtenants who are WPHs from the M&P sectors may continue to do so for the remaining approved duration.
