吐槽IRAS的parent relief

我是PR，给父母申请长期签证被拒，没办法只能短期来，延期89天，再出境旅游回来，，中途也有回中国3个多月。2013年，他们在新加坡居住了255天，申请parent relief,说不符合条件，给出的理由是新加坡居住地必须是他们的家。家的定义也太主观了吧

附上iras回信

Please note that, ‘Singapore must be a place where the dependant calls his/her “home”, a place where he/she would return to at the end of the day, be it after short overseas vacation/trips. This is contrary to the dependants who may be in Singapore for long term visits and who would ultimately return to their overseas home at the end of their visit.

255天，远超过有人说的183天，这种情况，以什么理由继续fight呢？

不能这么说楼主父母能长呆255天是移民拒批准的，那肯定是现有政策支持的。

新加坡的各种政策肯定是上头和各局充分讨论过的，各局按照各自执行，移民局肯定是公事公办，IRAS无从质疑的。

IRAS只是在现有政策下无法给没有LTVP的parent relief, 扯皮给了楼主一个冠冕堂皇的理由。

就这样而已。楼主父母能长呆255天是移民拒批准的，那肯定是现有政策支持的。

新加坡的各种政策肯定是上头和各局充分讨论过的，各局按照各自执行，移民局肯定是公事公办，IRAS无从质疑的。

IRAS只是在现有政策下无法给没有LTVP的parent relief, 扯皮给了楼主一个冠冕堂皇的理由。
