明年孩子就报名小学了，考虑换个房子来注册2C。有两个考虑：1，目标小学的2C成功概率只有75%左右；2，我们希望在旧家继续住到2017年底（不用换幼儿园），之后小学入学前再真正搬家。
如下打算行吗？17年4、5月份开始去租个学校1公里内的房子，用来注册2C，但不真正去住。如果17年8月份的2C抽不中，就2CS回到旧家，上旧家附近的学校。如果抽中，就卖旧房。然后在学校1公里之内买新房，然后通知MOE改地址。17年底搬家。
还有就是2C结果出来之后，能不能就停掉租房呢？这时候我只租了四个月左右。我乐意多赔给房东两个月啥的，不知道对方愿不愿意啊。

提醒一下楼主，P1 注册用的地址必须住至少30 个月ADDRESS USED FOR REGISTRATION
The address used in the P1 Registration Exercise should be the parents’ official residential address as reflected on their NRICs. This address will be used to determine the home-school distance category, where required for consideration of priority in admissions.
The home-school distance category priority is given with the expectation that the family will reside at the address for the duration of the child’s primary school studies, as it is for the convenience and interest of the child.
In a small number of cases, there may be situations where the families are unable to remain at the address used for registration for the entire duration of the child’s primary school studies. Even so, a child who gains priority admission into a school through his/her distance category is required to reside at the address used for registration for at least 30 months from the commencement of the P1 registration exercise on 30 June 2016. If this condition is not met, MOE reserves the right to transfer the child to another school with vacancies, as the priority admission to the first school was based on the declared address used for registration. -

这个我研究过。搬家是允许的，只要依然在1km之内"Parents who move to a residence that is within the same home-school distance category as the declared address used for registration, can continue to fulfil the 30 months stay condition based on the new address.“

关于短期租房这个我可以给意见我现在住的就是这样，房东租客都有agent，找房的时候就跟房东讲好我只住半年，合约还是得按一年的签，但是会写明租客住满半年后就可以终止合约，当然要提前一个月给notice。
lz的case大概也是签一年合约，然后跟房东商量住满4个月终止合约，如果不行，at least可以按半年算。 -

租房可以只租半年而已，最多浪费6个月房租，但是买个机会。

P1 registration 要父母的IC 地址，如果2C不中不确定2C和2Cs之间有多久，可以在这期间来得及换地址？记得以前要拿账单的地址去换IC 地址的。
没别的，只是一个楼主要考虑的一点。 -

2CS前可以再改一次地址吗？MOE网站没有明确的说。如果2CS前可以改，那是不是每个阶段都能改呢？比如7月底在2C前改一次。

我不确定啊，所以也想知道答案这段话是指的用moe系统网上报名吧，系统需要提前输入数据也可以理解。到学校报名的据我所知是用ic上的地址当场登记，至于ic地址怎么改学校/moe估计应该不会干涉吧（只要时间来得及），除非他们会和前面的phase对比地址，我个人觉得没必要。如果真会限制同一个地址，我想他们会明确提出而不是当作“潜规则”？
只是自己的理解，我应该不会临时换地址，好奇答案 -

我觉得不能换地址！如果可以在小一入学申请某Phase更换地址，那要求入学申请地址保留30个月的规定不是等同废纸一张！

更改地址的时候，在证件上会有更改地址的时间
今年的要求是要在注册地址，在2016年6月30日后住满30个月。就看MOE 怎么执行这个规定了。
现在不清楚phase 2c和2cs注册时，学校是否会看更改地址时间是否在6月30日前。

并没有规定在这个期间不可以搬家重点是你必须搬家。所以你计划中的问题是：租个学校1公里内的房子，用来注册2C，但不真正去住。请读以下文章。

moe只说用这个地址成功申请了要住30个月现在讨论的是如果某个phase申请不成功的情况。

地址每天换都可以前提是你真的搬家，不然被抓住了小孩一定会被退学的，据说有的时候学校会去你住家抽查，不知道真假。
所以你最好是报名2C前搬家过去，然后去警察局换IC地址（注意IC地址是个很严肃的事情，不要play play），然后抽不中立刻约搬家公司搬回旧家，然后去警察局换地址。搬次家只是400块罢了，不值得为了省钱省事冒小孩被退学的风险，两件事情没有可比性。
那个99年的大公寓还没有放房子出来卖吗？干脆直接租个房子过去住两年再说，其实如ACS的概率远远高过75%，今年是特殊情况。 -

我有朋友被ica敲过门还没报小学呢，就是搬了家没改地址，旧地址也是自己的房子只是没自己住
所以这个帖子讨论的基础是自己住的地址，这条如果不符合，就看自己要不要冒险了 -

谢谢指点看来我们还是真正搬过去好了。
不过搬的时间可以拖到明年7月了，也就是在2C开始之前搬就行。之前我还以为5月份就得搬呢。
如果2C抽中，我就续租或者买房。
如果抽不中，我就搬回旧家，用旧家地址注册2CS。 -

看IC上的地址具体要问警察局你IC地址应该怎么放，也许警察局会说放周一到周五你住的地方，毕竟周末更像是去度假屋的感觉。官方只是说必须28天之内更新地址，并没有定义有两个住家的情况。当然，最好先拿到警方的确认邮件，这样之后学校有什么问题你也就不怕了，但是简单的做法最好还是住一个地方。如果你放的是周末住的地方的地址，学校周一去你家查没有人那不是自己找麻烦吗？
