Simtrum was founded in 2019 with the core mission to serve the optical industry with innovation and efficiency. Our founding team has decades of research and development experiences (across NUS and A-star) in high-end microscope systems. We now focus on confocal, super-resolution microscopy and other related fields, catering to both academia research and high end industrial production needs. Our proprietary high resolution microscopes adopt state of the art optical technology, image processing algorithms, with excellent imaging performance to meet the high resolution and fast imaging needs of our technology partners. Simtrum is a young startup with many exciting opportunities to offer to the right candidates with the right mindset. We are now seeking the following commercial talents to join our team, to expand our reach and support our growth: Sales EngineerJob Descriptions:1. Visit university professors to promote the company's microscope products and complete sales tasks.2. Develop regional business based on existing products and assist in collecting market information for products under development.3. Identify potential markets and establish effective market entry methods.4. Establish marketing plans and strategies to expand your customer base.The Simtrum Sales Engineer will work closely with the Management to first maintain and deepen existing customer relationships in the Singapore market, and later further expand our outreach and build new accounts both locally and regionally. You should be comfortable with digital marketing as well as more traditional sales work requirements (sales calls, direct sales meetings, distributorship establishments)Basic Requirements:1.Ideally you should have a foundational education in either Electronic Engineering, Photonics, or Physics; 2.exposure to Laser or Optics industry a huge plus. Candidates with at least 1-2 years of related sales, marketing or e-Commerce experiences will be given priority considerations. 3.We are also open for fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn. To do well in the Simtrum environment, you should be someone with initiative, curious, can-do attitude, flexible, and eager to learn. Sales AssistantJob Descriptions:1.provide quotations to customers and follow up on sales progress;2.Update customer information and maintain the CRM system, and use the CRM system to develop and follow up with existing customers;3. Responsible for communicating with product line suppliers to obtain product information and quotations;4. Provide feedback and modification opinions to the marketing department on the company’s website and other marketing materials;5. Prepare and organize and archive product information, contracts, payments, PO, DO, Invoice corresponding to customers and update the procurement system in a timely manner, etc.;6. Responsible for logistics related matters.Your main responsibility is to support the Sales Engineer with the pre-sales documentation, quotation and bidding needs, and subsequent post-sales support, service/product fulfillments (simple product packaging, shipping and logistic coordination) and conduct regular post-sales customer engagement calls. You will also need to prepare monthly sales reports. You will be the go-to person to support our Product and Marketing teams in their work. Basic Requirements:1.The ideal candidate is systematic, meticulous, and CAREFUL! High level of caution is required as you will be dealing with expensive and highly accurate optical instruments. 2.You also have to be highly organised to maintain our documentation and filing. While prior similar experiences are preferred, we are open for fresh graduates with the right attitude and willingness to learn to send in your application. 3.To do well in the Simtrum environment, you should be someone with initiative, curious, can-do attitude, flexible and eager to learn. 4.Fluency in both English and spoken Mandarin is a must, as you will be required to liaise with our Chinese counterparts.
