Singapore local accounting firm is recruiting the following job positions (Not agent)
Work location : Near Redhill MRT
1. Corporate Secretarial and Administration Executive
Responsibilities :
• Handle full spectrum of Corporate Secretarial work and attend to clients on all corporate secretarial matters
• Incorporation of companies for local and overseas clients
• Perform customer due diligence
• Preparation of necessary documents for AGM, EGM, board and shareholders’ resolutions, striking off etc
• Updating and maintaining of statutory registers
• Filing of documents with ACRA
• Provide advice on compliance requirements and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirement
• Raising invoices for non-routine secretarial services rendered
• Other corporate and administrative or adhoc duties as assigned.
Requirements :
• Prior experience in corporate secretarial work is an advantage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and able to handle tasks in a prompt and efficient manner
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
2. AUDIT SEMI-SENIOR AND SENIOR
Responsibilities:
• To plan, execute and complete the audit of small and medium companies including drafting of the financial statements
• To do consolidation of group of companies and draft up the consolidated financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• To make recommendation on areas of improvements on internal controls of companies based on the results/findings of the audit.
• To build up a good client relationship and rapport with the client.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or Banking & Finance, Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in ACCOUNTANCY.
• Possess excellent organizational skills with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy so as to ensure that audits are completed before deadline so as to be on time for submissions to relevant government authorities/clients.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Eager and willing to learn with a positive work attitude and accountability.
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience & able to work independently and in teams
• Staff will be rewarded for their contribution and hardwork under the incentive scheme
• Preferably with some knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Companies Act and Standards on Auditing
• Must computer literacy like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and some knowledge of accounting software.
• Staff who have long term plan to excel in the audit profession and grow with the firm is an advantage
3. Accounts Executive
Responsibilities:
• Handle full set of accounts including GL and Reporting and monthly/yearly closing.
• Preparation of quarterly GST submission.
• For book keeping accounts. Record and classify all accounting transactions. Make sure correct accounts, posts, verifies and balances debit and credit entries. Manage accurate and timely closing of books for the monthly and yearly.
• Check accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparation and reconcile transactions for compilation financial reports.
• To identify improvement areas and develop good accounting control procedures and best practice to enhance accounting quality and efficiency Keep accurate records and attend internal meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by accounts manager.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or LCCI/ Degree in Accountancy / ACCA Level 2 or equivalent
• At least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in full sets of accounts
• Prefer experience in Xero accounting software.
• Positive attitude
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
4. Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities :
• Answer / reply / direct phone calls, emails and correspondences; letters and documents collection.
• Provide administration support such as data entry, sorting and filing of documents
• Monitor / maintain / order office supplies, ensure sufficient office supplies and timely replenishment
• Support colleagues who are working from home / outside of Singapore office, including scanning, filing documents, computer connecting etc
• Issue invoices
• Documentation and simple processing duties
• Any ad hoc job assigned
• Make best-practices recommendations to management
Requirements :
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Speak in English and Mandarin
5. Tax Executive
Responsibilities :
• Preparing and filing ECIs, and Income Tax and GST returns for Corporate, Partnership and Individual
• Preparing and submitting tax returns on time
• Structuring the affairs of clients to minimise tax liability
• Assist or advice clients on how to avert task risks
• Assist or advice clients on how to manage tax burdens
• Identify factors that may lead to tax risks
• Performing GST reviews for clients
• Make best-practices recommendations to management
• Performing any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirement :
• Must possess at least a Diploma or Professional Certification in Taxation/ Business & Accountancy
• At least 2 to 3 years' of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Possess pleasant personality and strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) for client engagement and management
• Able to work independently and to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• Remuneration will commensurate with relevant experience acquired
• Speak in English and Mandarin
