shearwater • • 7750 次浏览论坛中很少讨论购买二手保单的话题, 毕竟比较小众的投资产品。 本地比较大的 平台比如 rep holding 上有不少产品, 以 P 家产品居多。 比较受欢迎的是LP类产品, 大部分已经被reserve. 而其中大部分保单基本前面的投保人已经交了好几年,因而 该交的commission fee 已经交完,接手相对会比较划算。 这样的保单已经没有保险的成分,属于纯投资性质。
当然,产品缺点也比较明显, 比如产品是为他人量身定造, 而比较受欢迎的LP产品 pruwealth最终收益尤其是最后的 performance bonus 金额都由保险公司说了算, 以及锁定期比较长等等。 想了解一下大家的看法。

Lawyer Steven Lam of Templars Law who specialises in insurance and re-insurance matters laid out two common scenarios which can trigger a dispute in the resale market.
Scenario 1:
A policyholder sells his endowment plan to company A, which resells it to an investor. This investor continues to pay the premium until maturity.
In the event of a non-payout by the insurer, the investor may sue the original policyholder instead of the insurer because the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act does not apply in the insurance industry.
The investor also cannot complain to MAS because the relationship between the seller and investor is not regulated by MAS. As such, consumers who buy TLPs and TEPs cannot rely on laws administered by MAS to take action against either the intermediary who re-sold or packaged the policies or the distributor of the policies should they encounter any problems, said MAS.
